We are delighted to confirm that Kier Northern have been awarded a place on the new Procure North West (Build) Framework for the delivery of public sector capital projects up to 2022.
The Procure North West Framework is divided into four value bands and covers Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire and Cumbria. Contractors were able to tender for two of the four lots and we were successful in securing a place on both lots for which we bid:
• Lot 2 – £5m – £15m
• Lot 3 – £15m – £25m+
The Framework covers a wide range of public sector bodies across the region, including NHS organisations, schools, colleges and academies, local authorities, health and social care, emergency services, universities, housing associations, leisure providers, the Ministry of Defence and registered charities.
We look forward to working with the Procure North West Framework to support our forward pipeline of work in the north west.
Value Added Plans of the Framework
In addition to supporting construction skills training, Procure North West will also directly fund additional training by donating a percentage of the framework fee to help more young people develop skills and access apprenticeships.
The framework has also committed to supporting public sector bodies with access to grant funding through a Strategic Procurement Fund. Public sector organisations looking for financial backing for strategic new projects can apply for free grants, with the money generated by Procure North West.
