Challenge to support RNLI

In June 2018, Ben Bolton and Will Moss from the Liverpool Office took part in reaching the three highest peaks in Great Britain.

They were raising vital funds in memory of Mike Elwell, a close family friend who had tragic accident whilst on a skiing holiday in France. He spent the following few days in a coma before sadly passing away at the age of just 56.

Mike was an all-round life enthusiast but two particular passions of his were fell walking and sailing – Ben and Will thought they would combine the two by taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution).

Ben confirmed after completing this challenge “It was tough but we did it in 33 hours and 8 minutes (including brief night’s sleep in Fort William!). The scenery which was breath-taking, particularly Snowdon at sunrise on Saturday morning.”

They have raised an incredible £1,540 which is way beyond their expectations and it’s still rising!
