CSR Update – Connah’s Quay

Connah Quay’s school site have supported another young person into the construction industry to gain an apprentice position. They offered a work placement opportunity to Kaylum Sellers a student on the 8 week traineeship programme at Coleg Cambria. This has resulted in him being placed as a new bricklaying apprentice with local masonry company, Briar Grove, based in Mold.

Located close to the school is Queenferry Primary School. As we are currently carrying out demolition works, Kieran and Kiera were delighted to attend a school assembly, accompanied by Eddie Hughes (SHE Manager) and Rachel Greenwood (Site Manager).

Over 150 children attended the assembly where they learnt about the dangers of a construction site and how to stay safe.
