Official opening at Liverpool College

On the 12th September, The Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson OBE cut the ribbon at the official opening at Liverpool College. The event was also attended by the Councillor for Education Barbara Murray, the Principal Hans van Mourik Broekman, Pre-Prep Head Gail Gannon and Rob Gilland (LCC).

The project consisted of a new build two storey extension to expand Liverpool Pre Prep (infant) School with the addition of nine new classrooms, all with their relevant shared Learning Resource space. This is then shared accordingly with an external covered play space for all ground floor classrooms. A new kitchen was also installed with all relevant ancillary spaces married into the existing hall to serve the 400 children. The building was handed over on time and was very well received by all.

Kier representatives at the ceremony were Bob Adams (Director), George Harrison (Site Manager), Danny Jackson (Asst. Site Manager) and Jennifer Aspinall (Design Manager).
