‘The Big Thank You’ in Manchester

Back in June, an event was held called ‘The Big Thank You’ aimed at celebrating the great work being done in Manchester to tackle homelessness, the donors who have made it possible and the difference between the Big Change Fund and Mayor. Kier were proud to be one of the main sponsors for the event.

The event is a corporate event thanking those who have supported Manchester Homelessness Partnership and targeting more companies to get involved. Not only is this a genuinely worthy cause it will also offer a good opportunity to network in an ethical, fun and trendy city centre venue – Hatch, a social enterprise supporting young business entrepreneurs: https://bruntwood.co.uk/our-locations/retail/hatch/

The evening was organised by ‘In It Together’ and ‘Love for the Streets’ and further information on these is below;

In It Together is an experiential marketing agency which delivers social change by working with charities, social enterprises, NGOs & public bodies on marketing campaigns. Whether through reconnecting their volunteers with their vision, engaging a new audience to begin volunteering, encouraging community participation in a social programme or creating an immersive & interactive fundraising event – we help social organisations maximise their potential impact.

Love For The Streets is an award-winning, experiential marketing, community campaign which engages young people with the issues of homelessness and then mobilises them to support homeless charities. It is a collaborative campaign led by students from UoM & MMU – and involves students from across Greater Manchester. It uses a combination of art, music & cultural events to create offline engagement, which is then paired with a social media content marketing strategy to reinforce online engagement and it is currently in the process of registering as a charity.
