Huntington Primary School Completion

We handed over our project at Huntington Primary school on the 25th October to a delighted Client and Headteacher. The project was completed one week ahead of programme, meaning the school could have access during the half-term holidays.

The project, led by Dan Hampson, comprised of the construction of a new build 420 place primary school and 26 nursery provision together with external hard and soft play areas, car park and drop off areas, and multi-use hard play games area, reduction and retention of an existing pitch as a junior pitch and a new adult / community pitch. The project was part of the NWCH framework and we worked closely with them and Cheshire West and Chester Council throughout the lifetime of the works.

Gavin Griffith, Project Delivery Manager for Cheshire West and Chester Council said; “I would also like to say how pleased I am personally and how pleased the Council are with this scheme. All involved from Kier have been a pleasure to work with and have delivered a top class facility, so thanks once again.”
