CPR Training

Every three minutes in the UK, someone loses a loved one to heart and circulatory disease. With our chosen charity partner, the British Heart Foundation, we aim to make a difference to this statistic by raising £250,000 for heart and circulatory disease research, and by training 1,500 members of the Kier workforce in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).

We have surpassed our target of 1,500 people, and have set a new target to train 3,000 Kier Lifesavers. In addition, we have now trained 77 Kier Lifesavers across the Yorkshire and North West region through the Boots on for Building campaign.

CPR Champion Aaron Leaff from Financial Shared Services trained 22 people at the St Cuthbert’s and Merseycare sites; Lara da Rocha-Faria, also a CPR Champion, trained 30 people at the Liverpool office over four busy sessions, along with a further nine people at our Kaplan site. A further three sessions were also held in our Leeds office.
