On the 7th June we attended the West Yorkshire LABC Building Excellence Awards, following the shortlisting of the Springfield Sixth Form Centre at Dewsbury Learning Quarter in the Best Education Building category.
The Best Educational Building category included seven other projects alongside the Springfield Sixth Form Centre, and as one of the last categories to be announced, there was a nervous wait on our table.
The time finally came for the announcement of the Best Educational Building category, and we are delighted to announce that we were successful! The project will now go on to compete against the winners of the North and East and South Yorkshire category winners, with a chance of going to the LABC Awards Grand Finals in November.
