St Cuthberts – progress on site and school site visit

St Cuthbert’s Primary School is a new build school for 240 pupils that will replace the existing school building. Works that have taken place to date are setting up the site, haul road, cabins and fence lines, installed the piling mat, piling and drainage works and commenced the steel frame. The project is at week 15 of a 73 week programme.

On the 29th March, children from Year 6 and Foundation 2 visited their new St Cuthberts school site to see the progress to date.

This visit has helped the children as Year 6 are compiling a news article on construction to which we will provide a prize when the winner has been chosen.
