Poem reading and show flat at Park Hill

Yesterday we were delighted to host an event at Park Hill Flats along with Alumno, RPS, Whittam Cox and A1 Art Space.

The event was held to unveil a poem that was commissioned by Alumno for Beton House at Park Hill. Laureate Otis Mensah wrote the poem which was titled ‘We were never derelict’. The poem will take pride of place in both the show flat and the pop-up shop in Sheffield City Centre.

Following on from this, guests were given a tour of the recently completed show flat and they were amazed at the difference and the finish of the unit.

Following the event, we received the following feedback from Richard Syddall at Alumno:

“We wanted to say how pleased we are with how the show unit is looking – it was great to show David, stakeholders and the press yesterday. The feedback was very very positive.

Our thanks to the Kier team for their hard work to date reaching this important milestone – it is a massive asset for us in marketing the units going forwards and ultimately the success of the scheme.”
