11 York Street – progress on site

11 York Street is a highly prominent island site in Manchester’s central business district and is seen as the final piece of Manchester’s space for the Spring Gardens, York Street and Fountain Street area.

Works on the project are now well underway with the construction of our eight storey office block with the recent completion of the steel frame erection as the building starts to take shape.

Current activities on site include the mechanical and electrical engineering installation, drylining, installation of roofing and the final phase of steel erection and concreting.

We will be starting the external façade work to the building soon, with the installation of the pre-cast concrete cladding commencing first.

Once complete the eight-storey building will offer office floor plates between 10,000 and 12,000 sq ft, as well as two retail units at ground floor level and basement car parking and enhanced cycle storage. Recent enhancements include a high quality co working area with coffee outlet and meeting rooms to the ground floor and a covered terrace with function room at roof level.
