Completion of PET MRI

Back in March 2020 before any COVID resitrictions took hold, we handed over the completed PET MRI facility on programme to a delighted Client.

The project was the construction and fit-out of a concrete-framed, two-storey PET-MRI facility at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, a joint project for the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The new facility will provide new, state-of-the-art services in Sheffield. The project is one of only eight such facilities in the UK and it it will provide local people access to new clinical trials, and will support the development of new therapies and outcomes for patients. The facility will also provide faster diagnosis, track the progression of disease more easily, and accelerate the delivery of new drugs.

We have only recently been able to go back to take the final completion photos of the project – see below.
