Virtual workshops with The Sheffield College

Yesterday Donna Howard and Steven Fry had the pleasure of delivering two virtual workshops for the Kier Construction Academy students at The Sheffield college and these workshops are part of the colleges Employers Skills Academy Scheme.

The Academy allows a hand-selected group of construction students to work closely with representatives from Kier, in order to develop their professional industry knowledge and to build on the practical experience they have gained in the classroom. Today’s sessions covered Site Management, Site Health & Safety and Construction Phase Plans and was delivered by Steven Fry.

Students engaged really well during the session, asking some great questions throughout and as part of our sponsorship of their Construction Classroom further events will be held.
