Completion of Phase 1 at Golden Jubilee Hospital

At the end of last year, we handed over phase 1 of the £10m Golden Jubilee Hospital Eye Care Centre to the Golden Jubilee Foundation in Clydebank, Glasgow.

We have worked with the Client to deliver a programme of works including the provision of Elective Care Capacity for Ophthalmic, Orthopaedic and other surgical capacity. Phase 1 was the provision of a new integrated unit to deliver Ophthalmology services including outpatients and six purpose-built theatres / treatment rooms.

The new integrated unit will include a minimum of four procedure rooms and a large suite of outpatient/pre-operative space to support the delivery of a minimum of 12,000 procedures and 16,00 outpatient consultations/ pre-operative assessments per annum.

The new integrated unit is 2,500 sqm over 2 levels and will include:

Six theatres
Large suite of outpatient / pre-operative assessment space
Femto Laser
Staff Accommodation
Staff Changing
Consult Exam
Optometry
Biometry
Special Diagnostics
