11 York Street – virtual site tour

During these strange times, we have recently started hosting virtual site tours for our staff so they can see in real-life and keep up to date with what’s happening on our sites.

Our 11 York Street in Manchester held one earlier in February where Lee Williams took us around the site and explained the progress happening:

🔹The façade installation is substantially complete to the upper floors with the ground and first floor works underway.
🔹Roof terrace works will begin mid-Feb and will include an external seating area with a louvred pergola that opens for views across the city
🔹Biodiverse roof – this has been installed to attract black redstarts, a small robin-sized bird that has adapted to live at the heart of industrial and urban centres.
🔹Lift installation is due to be completed this month
Internally the wall and floor tiling is progressing well along with IPS installation and suspended ceiling works.

The scheme is due to complete in the summer of 2021 and you can view time-lapse footage of the project here.
