Spen Valley Leisure Centre – progress on site

Even though the weather seems to be changing on a daily basis, excellent progress is being made on site at Spen Valley Leisure Centre project. Following early release to us of the Phase 2 area, we have already completed demolition and site clearance of the old fitness suite

This space will then be landscaped to provide the new centre with the remainder of its car parking facilities and until then it provides some much needed space for the site.

The windows have progressed with the glass installation to make the building watertight – something necessary in this weather!

Finally the last of the floor slabs to the swimming pool changing village have been completed and internal partitioning and M & E works can now progress in earnest to both ground and first floors along with delivery of major mechanical plant.
