Our project for Durham County Council and their new headquarters is progressing well on site and they have recently had their second Considerate Constructors Visit and they scored:
The project is on week 83 of a 104 week programme and main current site activities are:
- Completion of the multi storey car park superstructure
- Pre-cast panel installation to the building facades – only a few weeks remaining until completion of these works
- Installation of the windows and curtain walling to the building facades, noting the atrium rooflight is nearing completion
- Internal fit out to all areas of the HQ building, with the raised access flooring being completed in phase 1 of 3
- External works progressing really well in phase 1 of 6
- Soft landscaping to the river edge areas has now commenced
- 2 no passenger lifts now tested and complete, with 3 no further lift installations ongoing with the expected completion in 3-4 weeks
