Contract Award : Litherland High School

We are delighted to have been appointed by The Heath Family North West to deliver the £1.8m Litherland High School extension works. This latest award follows our successful completion of the £25m Litherland High School back in 2011.

Procured through the SCAPE framework, the alterations and modifications to the existing high school will provide a through school for students aged between 3-18 with the neighbouring Litherland Moss Primary School being integrated into the high school.

Works include altering the internal layout for early years and key stage one teaching and providing new external works.

The project has recently started on site with enabling works being undertaken and the project is due to be complete by spring 2022.

Peter Commins, regional director at Kier Construction North & Scotland, said: “Following our previous success at Litherland High School, we are delighted to be working with the School and the Heath Family again to deliver new facilities for the primary school staff and pupils providing a fresh environment that is cohesive to learning.”
