Shakespeare North – progress on site

This month has seen two major events happen at our Shakespeare North project in Knowsley. Firstly the tower crane which had been affectionately nicknamed ‘To Be’ was had been a resident of the Knowsley skyline for over 85 weeks. The removal of this is a really positive milestone in the construction project and signals the final phase of work on the building ahead of playhouse opening next year.

Secondly saw the project receive a visit from Liverpool Metro Mayer, Steve Rotherham, Councillor Graham Morgan and CEO of The Playhouse, Melanie Lewis to lay some of the final bricks on the project. Brickwork started last year and we have now entered the final phase of the works.
