Open Doors Week took place in October this year. We hosted eight sessions across three of our sites in the North & Scotland region, giving access to a live construction project to over 90 people.
Open Doors is delivered by Build UK and it allows members of the public to go behind our hoardings and view some of our live construction sites. It is an opportunity for people to find out more about their local projects, the people behind the projects and find out about the breadth of roles available in the construction industry.
Our three projects that opened their doors were Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot, Newmarket Approach in Leeds and NHS Golden Jubilee in Scotland.
Visitors enjoyed a presentation on the projects followed by a walk around site to view the works and get the latest project updates from key team members.
