Charitable Works at Mintlaw Village Hall

As part of our commitments to corporate social responsibility on the Housing Improvement Programme for Aberdeenshire City Council through our four year framework, we have carried out a refurbishment to the toilet area at a local village hall in Mintlaw.

The works comprised upgrading the male and female toilets, replacement of all sanitaryware (including wet wall panelling where required), decoration of all walls and woodwork and replacement flooring throughout. We also removed existing local water heating and installed a new water cylinder, which will help to reduce energy costs.

We worked in collaboration with our local supply chain on this project hall and they are named below.

  • Labour and materials for plumbing and joinery works donated by QTS Contracts
  • Decoration and flooring – Costs of labour and materials provided by Kier
  • Labour for electrical works donated by DG Electrical

The photographs below show the progress before and after.
