A new history centre and registry office for Durham – progress on site

Works are continuing at our project for the new history centre and registry office for Durham County Council and we would like to share with you the most recent drone footage of the project.

Progress on-site includes:

  • We are moving towards the completion of the Reinforced Concrete Frame, with completion of this scheduled for mid-February.
  • We are completing the Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) pipework installation works, with completion by the end of January.
  • Works are also progressing to remove the general access scaffolding ahead of the installation of a bespoke designed tent structure to encapsulate the existing Grade II Listed Manor House and be able to complete works in a pseudo environmentally controlled environment.
  • Refurbishment of fixed timber features are progressing within the existing Grade II Listed Manor House.
