There is an upper student accommodation block from levels 3 to 12 comprising of 259 apartments and Kaplan will be bringing students predominantly from Far East to study for differing levels of courses with pathways to Liverpool University and the industry. Students will study and reside within the building.

The project will create 54 shared student flats which will each comprise of en-suite bedrooms and a communal lounge and kitchen area; it will also create 24 studio flats for students to live independently.

Client: Alumno Developments I Value: £20m I Completed: August 2017 I Facilities: Kier has designed the new 13,500m2 student accommodation facility to cater for a mixture of undergraduates, post-graduates, returning students and some fellows, and includes a mix of en-suite bedrooms, studios and accessible bedrooms. In addition, there is a main reception, large communal common rooms, management facilities, cycle racks and a laundry.
St Albans Place, Student Accommodation, Leeds
Client: Select Property Group I Value: £29.8m I Completed: September 2019 I Facilities: The works comprise of the design and construction of a new 18 storey student accommodation development. The super structure is designed as an in situ concrete frame with the central core being ‘slipformed’ early to allow the tower crane to be positioned on top of the core. The building will provide 376 individual, self-contained studios, for the purchase of rent, or purchase, to the student market. The building will also have circulation areas, communal areas, a commercial unit on the lower ground floor, and ancillary areas such as a gym, movie room, and laundrette.
