Cathedral Archer – painting project

Following on from our charity sleepout and continued support to The Cathedral Archer Project, we were asked by the charity if we could give support to assist in making better use of some old storage rooms by turning them into much needed functional offices for staff to move into.

Myself and Angela Johnson from Kier Services Sheffield teamed up to see how we could support the Project. After taking a look at the room, we realised that we could offer more, so we decided to undertake a refresh of two offices and the reception area! We had a very tight deadline to complete the offices, so we rallied around our supply chain. Johnston’s Paints donated all the paint and two painters from Kier Services spent three and a half days painting. Myself and Angela also spent half a day at the project undertaking cleaning of the walls in preparation for the painting.

Tracy Viner – Marketing and Development Manager for the Cathedral Archer Project said; “Kier Construction have made the impossible happen. With a very short deadline and little notice, we have a newly painted office and reception and it is so much better. Thank you!”
