Citizens Theatre Refurbishment
Client: The Citizens Theatre I Value: £13.5m I Description of works: The refurbishment of the Category B Listed building will improve visitor, performer, and staff experiences, ensuring the treasured Victorian venue remains central to culture and community in Glasgow. The transformation of the front-of-house spaces will create a vibrant and unique social gathering place that fully supports the breadth of work and ethos of the theatre. The plans for Glasgow's Citizens Theatre include upgrading the Victorian auditorium, installing a new foyer, creating a new studio theatre and transforming and protecting the historic façade of the exterior and the installation of a fly-tower.
Granton Station
Client: City of Edinburgh Council I Value: £4m I Completion: Spring 2022 I Description of works: Procured through the Scape framework, the works will bring the historic former Granton Station back to life as a high-quality creative workspace to serve the community it’s central to.
Paisley Museum
Client: Renfrewshire Council I Value: £43m I Completion: Winter 2022 I Description of works: This project will see work take place to redevelop the four buildings which make up the site, which includes two grade A listed buildings, one being Scotland’s first public Observatory, the works will provide improved accessibility, with the new west wing providing step-free access through the museum. The adjacent building, a former library will be converted into a new space to house objects from Paisley's internationally-significant collections and there will also be a new red glazed entrance hall, café, shop and learning spaces within the building.
