LRCG Trade Workshop

The LRCG (Liverpool Regeneration Contractors Group) Supply Chain Special Interest Group recently facilitated their first Trade Workshop in the City. For those that don’t know, the LRCG is a voluntary meeting of contractors working in the city and city region, and Liverpool City Council. The Group partners are working collaboratively to meet Liverpool City Council’s requirements for the creation of jobs, apprenticeships (and other training opportunities), and to maximise opportunities for local SMEs.

Partitions and Ceilings was our chosen trade and the workshop entailed two interactive sessions focusing on Social Value, Quality and Defects. Supported by the LRCG contractor partners, 15 Supply Chain members, 2 manufacturers, 3 suppliers, 3 consultants, Liverpool City Council and 1 Training organisation, the session was a great success and exemplified our commitment to fostering greater collaboration across the city region, with all key stakeholders, to address current and future challenges.

As founding members, The LRCG has helped elevate our status with the City Council and across the Liverpool City region generally. Our continued support is seen as vital in maintaining this status in the longer term.
