On a beautiful sunny day in Liverpool, we held the official topping out ceremony at Liverpool International College, part of the £1b Paddington Village. The event was organised by the University of Liverpool and Kaplan, and attendees on the day included Mayor Joe Anderson and Professor Dame Janet Beer who made passionate speeches on what this facility will mean to the learning community and the city of Liverpool. Also in attendance were Liverpool International College, CPMG Architects, and Pulse Associates.
A few of the students who will use the new facility also came along to celebrate the milestone in the project.
Currently the project is at week 70 and is due for completion in August 2019 and currently the fit-out of the education block and the student residential area is continuing. A further milestone achieved this week was the removal of one our tower cranes, TC2.
