YORbuild Framework Success

We are delighted to confirm that we have been appointed to both Lots of the new YORbuild Major Works Framework. Lot 1 is for projects valued between £10m-£30m and Lot 2 is for projects worth more than £30m. This Framework will provide access to tender pipeline opportunities of up to £1.5Bn and will run for four years, with the option to extend for a further two years. The works involved are major construction works across a number of sectors including education, health, commercial and residential.

The YORbuild Major Works Framework will serve all public sector bodies and third sector organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber region with some works also stretching to North East England, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and areas of Leicestershire.

This appointment highlights Kier’s success in delivering public sector projects through frameworks. Kier have and continue to deliver a number of projects through both the YORbuild and YORbuild2 frameworks, including the £23m Astrea Academy Primary and Secondary Schools in Sheffield, the £45m Ponteland School & Leisure facilities in Northumberland and the £14m Spen Leisure Centre in Kirklees.
